Plan on 60 to 90 minutes for a complete exam, especially if this is your first visit or if dilation is recommended.  The extra time covers paperwork, diagnostic testing, doctor consultation, reviewing your results and making any purchases in our optical.  If you have specific concerns or complex conditions being monitored, your doctor will let you know if additional time should be set aside.
